Carla's First Post
Hi everyone,
well here is my update. I am sitting here listening to my beautiful new pink ipod with its own pink case. It is so adorable. I love it. Its kind of funny,
because I remember when Rose got hers (like 3 years ago) and she was so excited and I thought what the hell is it? As usual I am a bit behind.
So, kids are pretty good actually. Jake really doesn't bother Brooke too much anymore, it is so much fun. They actually play together nicely for a really
really long time!@!! It's freaking me out.
Curt and I have found a cool scam to get time together. Our club will take the kids from 5pm to 8pm. So we take them swimming and then put them in the
nursery and give them pizza, which they can't be more excited about, and Curt and I go up and eat together in the restaurant. We think we are really cool
now, but wonder why we didn't think of this before.
As for Jake, very cool story. He has been really enjoying TKD now so I take him a lot. The other day he cut his toe really badly and we bandaged it but didn't
realize it still bugged him. So we went to TKD as usual and Jake refused to kick the paddles. Master hottie kind of yelled at him and he cried silently in the line
for a 1/2 hour. It was the longest half hour of my life but I didn't dare take him out. I cried too, it was horrible. At the end MK told him tomorrow would be a better day.
The next day Jake woke up and asked if today we were going to TKD. I said yes, he smiled. Then after school he said are we going now? I said not yet soon.
Sure enough daddy who new the whole story turned up to take Jake to TKD that day. He was AMAZING!! He kicked and ran and smiled and high fived and then MK took
him into another room and had him brake a board and Jake was overjoyed and puffed full of pride. Curt and I were so choked up we could barely thank MK afterword. he
gave us a knowing look and smiled.
As for Brooke, what a character. We were at the grocery store and I was helping a man read a label on a package. She was really quiet, which is extremely rare for her.
Afterword the man said thank you so much I hope you have a nice day, and I said you have a nice day too. Brooke looked at us both and said "I have a nice caca."
